1. Pair up with a partner of the opposite gender to create your team.
2. Teams compete in two routes, one for men and one for women. You have 12 minutes to reach the top, focusing on time management. If you takes 7 minutes, your partner only has 5 minutes left to use. Every second counts, time is ticking.
3. Scoring is based IFSC lead competiton hold count, where each move/hold is worth a point, 50 points allocated for each route, total of 100 points available to grab by your team. Make a move, score a point.
4. The team with the highest scores wins the prize. Detailed scoring criteria will be provided before the event begins. Note that this is a team competition.
5. Competitors are limited to one attempt to climb their designated route.
6. You may belay each other as a team, but only one may climb at a time. There will also be competition belayers avaiable for your team should you need one.
7. National athletes are allowed to participate, however, they must climb using only one hand and arm, reserving the other solely for clipping.
8. The order of teams will be determined by a random draw. All teams are permitted to observe each other’s climbs.
